Thumb Nerve Anatomy

The thumb generally receives oxygenated blood by the princeps pollicis artery. In this article we shall look at the anatomy of the median nerve its anatomical course motor and sensory functions and clinical correlations.

The thenar muscles help move the thumb and let you touch the pad of the thumb to the tips each of each finger on the same hand a motion called opposition.
